Doctrinal Statement
We believe that the King James Bible is the inerrant, infallible, perfectly preserved Word of God. All other “so -called” bibles (NIV, ASV, NKJV, etc..) are corrupt books and are not the
perfect Word of God. We believe that there is but one true God, perfect, infinite, all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere present all at once. This one true God is a Triune God, having three eternal personalities in His divine essence known respectively as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This Triune God created the world, universe, and all that is therein in six literal days. That each of the eternal distinctions in the divine essence have a particular ministry in God’s relation to His creation.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second eternal personality of the divine essence. He existed prior to creation, participated in the creation of the world, and remained in touch with the believing creation prior to His incarnation. Through the miracle of the virgin birth, this second eternal personality became united with flesh. Jesus Christ is God, and is the fullness of the Godhead in human flesh. That Jesus Christ lived a sinless, perfect life, shed His innocent, divine blood on the cross, died on that cross, was buried, and rose again three days later from the tomb. Jesus Christ is in Heaven now before the Father as our Advocate and Intercessor. Jesus Christ had a bodily resurrection, a bodily ascension, and will come back bodily.
We believe that Satan is a created being that is not equal with God. Satan is the leader of all fallen angels (demons) and evil spirits in this world. Satan was defeated when Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and rose again. Satan has already been judged and punishment awaits him.
We believe that God, as a Triune God, created man i n His image. Man, by the willful disobedience to the revealed will of God, became a sinful creature. Adam, as a sinful creature, has passed on to the entire human race this sinful nature.
We believe that complete salvation is by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Once a man is saved he is saved forever. That Jesus Christ while in His earthly ministry, instituted the local church. That the local church is an assembly of baptized believers joined
together to carry out the great commission and to keep the ordinances of Christ. That the
ordinances of the local church are baptism and the Lord’s supper. That the command to carry the Gospel to the “uttermost parts of the earth” is also a responsibility of the local church. That all missions efforts are to be through the local church.
We believe that the Bible clearly teaches separation from the world system by every believer. We are to separate from ecclesiastical organizations, clubs, groups, social orders, etc. that exist contrary to the teachings of the Bible. Christians are commanded to be the salt of the earth and a bright light in this dark and sinful world. That the second coming of Christ is always imminent. We hold to the pre-tribulation rapture and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
